Kaitiakitanga

WALT: I know why being a kaitiaki is so important to me.
Kia ora, Te Puna Wairua had a reliever and her name was Whaea Ariana and she gave us mahi to do and it was Kaitiakitanga it was like a taniwha and Whaea Ariana was showing us an ensample how to do it and we kind of got it but not that much but we have tried to do it and what mine looks like is.
It's a red background and it's green it has glasses on and it has eyebrows and it's smiling.
This is my photo of it and you will know what im talking about.

Tukutuku panels

Kia ora,
What i did is a flounder which is Pātiki or Pātikitiki, Also it is a shape like a diamond and even in the dark when the flounders came the men were sound asleep. And According to Ngati porou tradition, the Patikitiki or Pātiki significance relates to being able to provide 100%.

Mango Pare

WALT: I have learnt the importance of mango pare/Hammerhead shark Kia ora,
Ko Mangopare te ingoa o tooku mahi ingoa

I just want to tell you all about my mahi and what is represents.
Orange Represents Lava, Red Represents my blood and heart, Yellow represents Tamanuitera, Blue represents Tangaroa and Light sky blue represents tangaroa
Again. And Why i choses to call it Mangopare because it looks like it and Mangopare means hammerhead shark.

Tama iti (Mana)

Kia ora Te Puna Wairua has been learning about mana and we have write down all the things that came to our head about Mana and how we can show it.

Kia Ora Koutou!!
Te Puna Wairua had manuhiri in today and they were called FLiP which is Financial Literacy in Primary and we were learning how to save up money and the manuhiri that we were with was Whaea Danniel and Whaea Mona they came from PWC in the city and PWC stands for Pricewaterhousecoopers and PWC is a company who deals with money.
We were learning about how to save money and how to use money wisely and carefully also we were learning about credit and debt. And we learnt how to borrow money and earn money from other people.
